Cornerstone Retaining Wall Block – Airpark Apartments

Cornerstone retaining wall block at Airpark Apartments helped solve a number of construction challenges for the Project in Gaithersburg, Maryland. A multi-family residential complex has built the retaining walls, allowing the developer to utilize the land to its maximum potential. Roche Brothers (installer) utilized numerous retaining wall applications, including inside & outside corners, tangent angles, inside & outside curves, terraced walls, front & back slopes, and surcharges. The design included a top-of-wall safety fence and a multi tiered green wall, punctuated with a variety of trees & shrubs. A cast in place stairway flowed through the wall connecting the development to an adjoining street.
