Atlanta Georgia Retaining Walls at Preston Ridge

The Preston Ridge Medical Center near Atlanta, Georgia, was an ambitious project requiring retaining wall support for a retention pond, parking lot and the Medical Center. On-site challenges included high, steep and changing slopes. CornerStone® Positive was selected by the engineer, contractor and developer because its high strength connector system creates a continuous positive connection with units above and below the reinforcement layer along the entire wall length. The system provided near perfect horizontal block to block alignment, an increased safety factor and the exceptional geogrid to block connection strength that enabled the finished wall
to tower up to 45 feet.
